Gerard Pique enjoys a scooter ride with new girl Clara Chia Marti

He announced his split with ex Shakira in June after 11 years together amid unconfirmed reports the footballer had cheated on the Colombian.

And appears to have firmly moved on from his former long-term relationship as he enjoyed a day out with new girlfriend Clara Chia Marti, 23, during a romantic break in Paris.

The footballer, 35, let his hair down on Saturday as he and Clara whizzed around on electric scooters in the French capital, with the couple appearing to be joined by two pals.

Gerard dressed down for the occasion, http://tridenttherapy.com/ teaming a simple white T-shirt with a faded denim jacket and stone coloured trousers.

The Spanish centre-back, who shares sons Milan, nine, and Sasha, seven, with Shakira, 45, accessorised his laid-back look with a black bandana and dark shades. 

Meanwhile, PR student Clara opted for a black leather jacket worn over a white T-shirt which she paired with loose-fitting black jeans.

The beauty also donned a pair of white block heels for the ride, somewhat inappropriate for the sporty activity. 

The pair looked in great spirits as they whizzed around the city on the scooters, with the couple laughing and joking during the ride.

Shakira was reportedly ‘very angry’ after her footballer ex went public with his new girlfriend.

The images of Gerard passionately kissing his new love interest appear in a new video taken by Spanish media outlet Socialite at the Summerfest Cerdanya festival in Catalonia in August. 

However, the pair have since put on another amorous display as , Spain later the same month.

The footballer and the PR student strolled along together with their arms wrapped around each other while smiling happily, just weeks after going public with their romance. 

Meanwhile,  with Rauw Alejandro, in which she sings: ‘To complete you I broke into pieces; I was warned, but I didn’t listen; I realised that yours is false…’ 

Clara is thought to work for Gerard at his company Kosmos, in the Public Relations office.

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Gerard and Clara have been seeing each other for months.She is a student who also works for him in his office, organising events.

‘They have been keeping quiet about their relationship but those around them all know what is happening.’

They added: ‘People have been helping him keep the romance hush-hush and have wiped Clara’s social media accounts so people can’t find photos of her.That alone makes his mates think he is actually quite serious about being with her.’

Host Laura Roige narrated: ‘I am excited, it is evident that there is a relationship. I have seen a lot of love, it will hurt Shakira a lot, because this is a Gerard Pique that we have never seen. I have never seen him like this with the singer.’

They claim Shakira is ‘very angry at seeing the father of her children with his girlfriend in public’. 

It’s claimed they had a pact in which they would not appear in public with their partners during the first year since the breakup.

According to Spanish newspaper , Shakira and Gerard are trying to remain friends for the sake of their children, despite their relationship being strained. 

The split announcement followed rumours in the Spanish tabloids that the couple were on the verge of breaking up with sources claiming he had cheated on the star.

Shakira’s statement read: ‘We regret to confirm that we are parting ways.For the well-being of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.’

The former couple are said to have spent the last few months negotiating the future of their two children because Shakira wants to move to Miami with them.

The singer broke her silence after their split in a recent interview with Elle magazine, saying music is like her ‘therapy’ during her ‘darkest hours.’

Asked how she has coped with not being ‘together’ with Pique, who she met in 2010, she said: ‘I think that those details are somehow too private to share, at least at this very moment—everything is so raw and new.

‘I can only say that I put everything I had into this relationship and my family.’

The couple had been together since 2011, with the pair having met while filming the music video for her World Cup song Waka Waka the previous year.

Piqué’s team happened to win the World Cup that year, where his soon-to-be girlfriend performed during the final game.
