Big Island

Hon Lon is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Nam Du archipelago. Located in the Gulf of Thailand, Hon Lon stands out with its green coconut trees that are up to 70-80 years old. Coming here, you can not only admire the swaying coconut trees but also dive to see corals or experience catching fish and squid.

On Hon Lon there is Cay Men beach, this beach is still very wild, not much exploited by humans, so you will still have the opportunity to see with your own eyes the wild beauty that many other places do not have.

Hon Nom

There are 21 islands in the Nam Du archipelago, but currently only 11 are inhabited. One of the 11 islands is Hon Nom. Although it is said to be inhabited, this island is only inhabited by the extended family of Mr. Duong Van Sau. The island was reclaimed and built by Mr. Vuong Van Kieu, Mr. Sau’s father, in 1960. The entire island has an area of ​​about 10 hectares, but only 3 hectares are arable, the rest is completely rocky mountains.

Hon Mau

Hon Mau is not too large, only about 200 hectares with more than 120 households located next to each other. Because the population is not large and the island is not too large, the people here can tell if you are a stranger or not just by looking at you.

Hon Mau is an ideal tourist destination for those who want to immerse themselves in the sea because there are many beautiful beaches here. Among the 5 beaches here, there are two beaches: Bai Chuong and Bai Nam – these two beaches have white sand, smooth, extremely beautiful.

Hon Dau

Hon Dau is quite similar to Hon Lon because the coconut trees are many years old and always strong in facing storms and tempests. Hon Dau has a fairly large area with primeval forest accounting for 90%.

Near the shore there are many growing coral reefs, not as beautiful as other deep water areas but the sea water is clear and very clean. Therefore, if you travel to Nam Du and skip Hon Dau, you will regret it.

Hon Ngang

Hon Ngang is one of the most populated islands in Nam Du. Because this place has the calmest harbor in Nam Du, every day thousands of boats, canoes, etc. gather here. Every day from Hon Lon to Hon Ngang, there are 2 trips at 7am and 3pm.

Hon Ngang is the center of Nam Du commune, so if you don’t stop here, your trip will be a bit incomplete.

Hon Hai Bo Dam

Since 1983, this charming island has been named Lai Son, one of the four island communes of Kien Hai district (Kien Giang) with an area of ​​11.5 km2 and more than 2,000 households living there. Coming to Hon Son, visitors can fully appreciate the poetic scenery, the harmonious combination of sea and island with human values ​​associated with the history and culture of the land where the waves overlap.

Bai Chet

According to folklore, in the 16th century, on the way to Phu Quoc for trading, a fierce battle broke out between a Dutch and Chinese ship. A few days later, hundreds of Chinese corpses washed up on this beach, from then on, people called it Bai Chet.

Royal Beach

Bai Ngu is located in the west of Cu Tron (Hon Lon). This place is called Bai Ngu because legend has it that King Gia Long once stayed here.

A special thing about Bai Ngu is that whether it is dry season or rainy season, this place still has plenty of fresh water thanks to a well that is always full of water. Local people believe that the well was dug when the king arrived here, so it was named the King’s Well.

Nam Du Lighthouse

This is considered the tallest lighthouse in Vietnam thanks to its location on a hilltop more than 300 meters above sea level. Ma Thien Lanh Hill

Most tourists coming to Hon Son like to explore Ma Thien Lanh hill, which still preserves many legends that every local knows.
