I’m curious about new products so I saw that Chouchou cushion powder was hot so I took it home. I must say that this cushion is one of the most affordable products in the cushion foundation I currently have. When I asked around, I found many people complimented me that this cushion is good for many skin types. It basically covers well, moisturizes fairly well, and makes the skin naturally smoother. The powder only costs about 300k, don’t expect too much but it also brings quite a lot of good things to me. Let’s review to see if it’s ok or not.
Usually I talk about the packaging of powders first. But with Chouchou powder, let me talk about the scent first. The company says this powder has an Italian floral scent. But I find it to be a strong cosmetic scent. The powder has been used for a while but the smell is still clearly visible. Fortunately, the smell is not very pleasant but the ingredients are not bad, daunfg does not cause irritation or anything. But those with sensitive skin should still consider it. Try it first on your hand and then apply it to your face.
Let’s talk about the color palette first, Chouchou liquid powder has two tones like other normal powders. It’s 21 bright and 23 is the natural color. But you need to know, this one is brighter than normal powders. Tone 21 is too bright, everyone should use color 23. Skin must be extremely bright to buy 21. This product will also lose its tone slightly after a period of use. After about 5 hours, the tone has dropped by about 50%. Basically, you should reapply in the middle of the day, not all day and still be confident that your face will be bright.
Cushion in general has only a relative ability to conceal imperfections. I think it’s the same with Chouchou foundation, just misty. It seems to be able to hide large pores, dark spots… but with the flaws of inflammatory acne and other types of pitted scars, I’m at a loss.
Basically, this cushion is good in terms of coverage, I feel my skin is tight and soft, and doesn’t make my skin feel stuffy at all.
Even though it’s called Magic Cover, the coverage isn’t magical and the oil control is just normal. Cushion is emphasized as being for all skin types. But I think people with normal skin can use it just fine. Combination skin but not too dry or too oily is ok. Because this product’s moisturizing ability is quite good, it’s not too oil-controlling for my skin. This one can be used in an air-conditioned environment and it doesn’t get cakey, but when it goes outside, the tone goes down quite quickly and the foundation shifts. And another plus point is that even if the tone goes down, it still goes down to the hills, not too dark or blurry, so I really like it.
We talked back and forth before discussing her appearance. This box is completely black, inside and out. It accentuates the Chouchou logo on the lid and the rose gold border around it. I like this case, look at it, and the paper box is also the same so I love it, no joke.
Is it worth buying Chouchou cushion powder?
The ingredients of Chouchou cushion are multi-polar whitening cream. But for me, cushions are just makeup, not skin care products. I also don’t expect much from this aspect of her. In short, for the price, this Chouchou cushion is quite reasonable. The smell is a bit strong but other shortcomings are still acceptable.
