CLUB CLIO is a Korean cosmetic brand born in 1993 and founded by a group of makeup experts. The company has divided the brand into sub-branches specializing in different products such as CLIO Profession (professional cosmetics), Peripera (youth cosmetics), Dermatory (cosmetics), Goodal (skin care), Healing Bird (care and body).
The company was present in the Vietnamese market in August 2018, so that Vietnamese consumers can access the company’s products more conveniently.
Packaging and design of CLIO Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP
The packaging of CLIO Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP is very focused on appearance, with both a cardboard box printed with product images and detailed information, as well as a paper cover for the included replacement core.
CLIO liquid powder has an extremely luxurious design with a glossy plastic lid creating a mirror effect, printed with the product name in an unconventional font and a black plastic box body with luxurious gold rim. Inside the product is a super-fine powder puff, a strap with the brand name printed on it, and a mirror.
In addition, there is a separate plastic cap between the powder puff and sponge to help keep the powder from spilling out during use. The product also comes with a replacement powder puff core so it can be used for a long time.
Is CLIO Kill Cover Founwear Cushion XP really good?
The product’s design impressed me at first sight. However, I was quite disappointed when I realized that the product’s mirror shell is actually glossy plastic, does not look very luxurious and is susceptible to fingerprints.
When applied to the skin, CLIO powder creates a very pleasant cool feeling on the skin. The product does not have very high coverage, it only makes my skin even out, tones up and covers small dark spots. Therefore, if you have skin with many blemishes and need a cushion with high coverage, you should consider it.
The product has a smooth, matte finish, not shiny like other cushions. But matte here is to create a feeling like real skin, not powdery and dry. The product tones down slightly after about 1 hour, then completely absorbs into the skin. It has a light sweet fruity scent that doesn’t cause discomfort when used.
The color adhesion of CLIO powder is very good. The company says this product can last up to 48 hours, but in reality, no one has tested whether the cushion lasts up to 48 hours or not. But when I use it from morning to night, the product still sticks to the skin, there is no stickiness, but the skin tone is quite obvious, especially in oily areas like the T-zone and cheekbones.
