Not only compared to other brands, but compared to other Kose lines, it is also more luxurious. It’s a screw cap type. The milk form is a jar and the gel form is a tube. You can immediately tell the difference at a glance, just the color tone with the brand logo and similar designs.
As for the ingredients, these babies take the main ingredients from herbs, including angelica, Melotria roots, Sasa Veichii leaves… both nourishing and moisturizing.
The sun protection index is already high when you look at the cover. This one is the most domestic version. Milk line for combination to oily skin. This product is waterproof and also contains hydration, jojoba seed oil, so it moisturizes well. I often use this product when I go outdoors and have to be exposed to a lot of sunlight. This type of milk is thin so it’s very easy to apply.
It’s good to use, but to be honest, I’m still not used to its slightly harsh alcohol smell. It’s like the more you use the more the alcohol smell becomes apparent or something. I don’t think the ingredients are harmful, but I still can’t get used to it. In short, this type absorbs quickly, does not cause thinning, and is dry and comfortable to use. This case is Japanese standard, resistant to both UVA and UVB. The downside is that it contains alcohol so I don’t like it very much.
About Kose sunscreen Gel line
This is suitable for those with dry to combination skin. The cream is in a tube, the gel is still liquid, after applying it doesn’t dry quickly or instantly like the Milk line. This leaves an extremely soft, moisturizing layer on the skin. Those with dry skin can refer to it. The gel is thick so its moisturizing ability is extremely good.
Another plus point is that this Kose sunscreen is gel-based and doesn’t have a strong alcohol smell like milk. Anyone who is uncomfortable with the smell of alcohol can rest assured to use this type. The cream is thin and smooth, feels absorbed quickly.
Compare and see which Kose sunscreen you should use
I find both types to be fine, the gel type is suitable for daily use and the milk type is ideal for outdoor activities. Liquid milk will absorb faster, but this type has an alcohol smell. The gel line has a light, pleasant scent. One type for oily skin is milk, whereas gel is suitable for those with dry skin.
In terms of price, the gel is much cheaper, only about 400k for a tube. As for milk, the price is double, about more than 800k for a bottle. Using milk is quite expensive, but it provides excellent sun protection and water resistance, so anyone who travels often can consider buying it.
