Let’s find out if Sepre powder from Korea is suitable for summer or not?

Have you ever heard of Semper powder?

Hello everyone, whether you’re a beginner or a makeup expert, if you haven’t used Semper powder, you’re probably curious about its review, right? Powder is inherently an extremely necessary step, especially in hot weather like now. In addition to the skin screaming because it secretes too much oil, it also has to deal with drenching sweat. In weather like that, if you only use foundation or concealer, it’s considered a “failure”. You must definitely have a box of powder with you, not only to make your makeup look instantly beautiful but also to help keep your skin tone from getting worse.

What is the outer shell of Semper powder like?

Before “examining” the appearance, let’s say a little bit about Sepre is a Korean powder, from a brand called Geo. This powder box looks familiar, right? I don’t remember the name, but maybe makeup enthusiasts from the past are quite familiar with this pearl-colored lidded powder box. The chalk has a paper cover and a small black bag to hold it. Quite neat. When I opened the powder box, I noticed a slight scent. There is a smell. Anyone who doesn’t like smelly cosmetics will find it quite unpleasant.

The color palette of Semper powder has several tones

Sepre powder has two tones: natural and bright white. Because my skin is also relatively white and I like makeup to have a slightly glowing skin, so choose a whiter one. When applied to the skin, it doesn’t look like you’re applying powder on your face, it doesn’t look silvery or unsightly. This powder is organic, smooth, and quite comfortable when applied to the skin. I applied the powder with a brush, not too thick, light on my face.

Evaluation of covering ability and color fastness

Coverage is not too high. It evens out skin tone and makes the foundation more matte, but it doesn’t even cover dark spots or acne. Powder must be skillfully spread so as not to be thick or leave residue in “dangerous” places on the face. I sometimes use this one to create contour. It’s also quite good to highlight the bridge of the nose, under the eyes, and above the eyebrows to make the face look a bit more angular.

I think the staying power is about 4-5 hours. After that, the T-zone will have a slight oil secretion, and the skin tone will also decrease.

I quite like this powder, it’s okay, but my friend who used it had a problem where it looked fine at first and then at the end of the day she had a few tiny pimples. So those with sensitive skin should pay a little attention before using. Cosmetics should be tested before using to see if they are suitable for your skin.

Is investing in Semper powder worth it?

Semper chalk

Looking at the interface, it seems to be stable, although not as shiny as many other famous Korean brands, but not too bad. This powder should cost about 300-350k/box. I appreciate the smoothness, temporary adhesion and concealer at a relative level. You can use sunscreen and then cover it with powder if you want natural skin, just make sure it doesn’t look oily. Or else, use foundation, concealer carefully, then apply powder. I recommend using a brush so that the powder layer is even, smooth, and not thick. If you don’t have a brush, use a puff, remember to apply evenly. Remember to apply, not rub, otherwise you will ruin your entire makeup layer and lose its smoothness!

Basically, there are many other options at this price range, but in terms of quality, Semper powder is worth a try. An affordable Korean powder, not too bad to use, especially suitable for oily skin in the summer.
