What means of transportation should I use to get to Da Nang?

Da Nang is a modern city, so here you can travel by any means you want.

– Train (train): From Hanoi or Saigon there are train routes to Da Nang (North – South route), ticket prices range from 300,000 VND to 1,200,000 VND depending on the type of train and seat type. It takes 14 to 20 hours to get from these two cities to Da Nang by train.

– Airplane: from Hanoi to Da Nang, ticket prices range from 600,000 VND to 2,200,000 VND, depending on the airline. It takes 1 hour 30 minutes to get to Da Nang. Same for the Saigon – Da Nang route.

– Passenger car: costs about 400,000 VND – 500,000 VND. Hoang Long, Hlink, Mai Linh, Thuan Thao buses. Time 18 to 20 hours from Hanoi/Saigon to Da Nang.

If traveling within Da Nang city:

– Motorbike: convenient and easy to explore Da Nang tourist attractions. Can be rented at hotels or motorbike rental locations, prices range from 60,000 VND – 150,000 VND/motorbike/day.

– Bus: there are interprovincial buses running to Hue (3 hours), and Hoi An (1 hour)

Where should you go when coming to Da Nang?

– Banh xeo

– Banh beo

The banh beo area at Con market (Hung Vuong street gate), Hoang Dieu, Hai Phong, Ong Ich Khiem (sold from noon, only from September to February every year)… is a place you should try. Each cup of banh beo is only about 1,500 VND.

– Contamination of Cau Mong

Banh trang is priced from 8,000 VND/1 plate or more. The best is in the alley near Thang Long hotel, Dien Bien Phu street and Ba Tu dam rice paper and rice paper shop: 354 Le Duan; Price 3,000 – 5,000 VND/piece.

– Sticky rice ice cream

Price ranges from 7,000 VND – 12,000 VND/1 glass on Ngo Si Lien Street, Hoa Khanh.

– Suction tube

The average price of a plate of smoked snails is 20,000 VND or more, with delicious snails such as stone snails, snails… the price will be a bit higher. There are many snail restaurants in Da Nang, but the snail restaurant on Le Duan Street that gets the most praise is the snail restaurant on Le Duan Street.
