Which option for clothes dryer?

Consumers should choose products with origin and warranty.

Too many options

Although there are differences in prices, on the market today there is a clear hierarchy of two product lines: high-end (branded) and low-cost (unbranded or unclear origin).

When used clothes dryer need to note:

– Wring clothes dry before hanging them in the dryer.

– Keep the dryer 1.5m or more away from water or fire sources.

– Do not squeeze clothes on top of each other when drying.

– Do not put greasy clothes in the machine because it can easily cause a fire.

– Do not wash the machine with water, only wipe with a damp cloth.

– Do not place the device in a humid environment or near flammable or explosive objects.

– Do not let children near while the machine is operating.

For high-end product lines, it is a box-shaped dryer washing machine of famous brands such as: Electrolux, Toshiba, Hitachi, Samsung… The price of these products ranges from 6,000,000 – 8,000,000 VND/unit. In addition, they have the same design as the washing machine but with Daiwa and Alaska brands, the price is 4,000,000 – 8,000,000 VND. Currently, on the market there are washing machines and dryers with prices ranging from 14,000,000 – 24,000,000 VND.

The second product line used by many consumers today is a dryer designed in the form of a tree or a cabinet. This cabinet dryer has many types, origins and prices are difficult to predict. For example, the AirODry brand dryer (unknown origin) costs only 450,000 VND/unit. Bear two-story clothes dryer costs only 850,000 VND.

Also this cabinet dryer, if it is from brands such as Toshiba, Hitachi, Panasonic in the Vietnamese market today, the price ranges from 1,000,000 – 2,000,000 VND.

Currently on the market there are also imported dryers, quite expensive so few people choose them like Bosch dryers (imported from Germany cost up to 30,000,000 VND).

Which type to choose?

According to Ms. Bui Phuong Khanh, OBC Company specializes in selling clothes dryers, the price is only a partial assessment, not every expensive product is a good product. Therefore, in cases where the budget is limited, consumers can still choose a cheap dryer product line but need to ensure the following factors: Have a clear origin, have a warranty of at least 12 months or more, and have specific instructions when using. Do not buy dryers that are floating around, have no warranty, or have no instructions for use. Because if you do not know how to use it or use it incorrectly, these floating products can cause harm to consumers.

Ms. Khanh Phuong added that to use the dryer safely, effectively, and maintain the machine’s durability, consumers should follow the following principles:

When putting clothes in to dry, they must be washed and wrung dry. In particular, do not put greasy clothes in the dryer as this will cause a chemical reaction and cause a fire.

Whenever the machine is operating or not operating, you should keep it 1.5m away from water or fire sources; Must be cleaned with a damp cloth instead of rinsing with water. The socket must be safe to avoid electric leakage. Before putting into the dryer, clothes need to be squeezed dry to save electricity.

Another thing to note is not to hang clothes too tightly so that the heat spreads evenly throughout, helping the clothes dry faster. Do not let children near the machine while in use.
