Carrot:

Grape:

– Vietnam: Phan Rang grapes are usually small, red or light purple in color, berries, firm and hard to the touch. The rolls are very fresh, the bunches are short. Strong sour taste.

– American: darker skin, elongated, sweet taste, crispy, very few or no seeds.

– TQ: round, large fruit, often stored in a cooler. The fruit is light purple in color, with a layer of opaque white powder. The intestines have many seeds and are soft. Slightly sour taste.

Orange:

– Vietnam: Vinh oranges are round, small, yellow-green in color, the peel is often melasma.

– America, Australia or South Africa: orange peel color is lighter than Chinese oranges but the peel surface is thicker, stretchier, and rougher. The price of American oranges at Hoc Mon wholesale market is currently 56,000 VND/kg.

– China: only available seasonally, from around October of the lunar calendar to Tet. – China: small fruit, thick skin, dark yellow color, often called “Thai tangerine”. This type of tangerine is difficult to grow and can only survive in cold climates. Therefore, when transported to Vietnam, tangerines are often packed in cold boxes.
