* CHECKED BAGGAGE shipping regulations

Step 1: INSPECTION, SCREENING: For checked baggage, security personnel will conduct searches, inspections, and X-rays or other forms of screening. Security personnel have the right to inspect in the absence of the passenger. If the passenger refuses to be inspected or screened, the airport has the right to refuse transportation and will NOT refund the transportation fee and will not bear any other responsibility to the passenger. The airport will only be responsible if during the inspection or screening process, injury to the passenger or damage to the baggage is caused.

Step 2: After baggage has been checked, the airport will take custody of the baggage and issue a Baggage Tag for each piece of baggage. Checked baggage must have the customer’s name or other personal identification securely affixed to it. Checked baggage is usually carried on the same aircraft as the passenger, unless the airport decides to transfer it to another flight for safety, security or operational reasons. If the baggage is carried on a later flight, the airport will be responsible for delivering the baggage to the customer within a reasonable time after the arrival of that flight, unless the customer is required by law to be present for customs clearance.

Step 3: Baggage delivery

– Baggage delivery: You will receive your baggage as soon as it arrives at your destination. If you do not collect your baggage within a reasonable time, your baggage may be subject to storage fees. If you do not collect your baggage within 2 months, the airport may dispose of it without any liability.

Luggage will only be delivered if it has a luggage tag. If the luggage tag is lost, it will only be delivered if you can prove your rights to the luggage. After receiving the luggage, the airport will not be responsible for any further luggage.

Charges: The minimum initial checked baggage allowance that can be purchased is 15kg, and additional allowances can be purchased in 5kg increments. If you check in baggage that exceeds 15kg or your purchased baggage allowance, you will be charged an additional fee per kg. Baggage fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

ATTENTION:

– Strollers, wheelchairs, mobility aids or crutches are transported free of charge. Children are not allowed to carry baggage, although strollers and prams are transported free of charge.

Musical instruments exceeding the dimensions of our cabin baggage but weighing less than 75kg may be transported in the cabin, provided you purchase a seat for the instrument and pay the appropriate fare.
