Da Nang is one of the 20 cleanest cities in the world, and obviously it is also the cleanest city in Vietnam. Da Nang today has changed a lot compared to before, therefore, during tourist and festival seasons, Da Nang is always crowded with domestic and foreign tourists coming to travel and visit.
Moving costs
From Hanoi to Da Nang you can travel by bus, train, or plane.
– Coach: You can choose popular bus companies such as Hoang Long, Mai Linh, Thuan Thao with ticket prices around 400,000 VND – 500,000 VND, travel time is from 18 – 20 hours from Hanoi/Saigon to Da Nang.
– Train: Depending on the type of train and seat class, ticket prices from Hanoi to Da Nang can range from 300,000 VND – 650,000 VND, travel time from Hanoi is 14 – 20 hours. If traveling from Saigon, the price may be higher because of the longer distance.
– Plane: is the fastest means of transportation from Hanoi to Da Nang, ticket prices depending on the airline can range from 600,000 VND to 2,200,000 VND, travel time is 1 hour 30 minutes.
To save money, you should take the train. If you go from Hanoi to Da Nang, you will only get a hard seat 300,000 VND, it takes you 18 hours.
If traveling within Da Nang city, you can ride a motorbike, bus or taxi.
– Motorbike: convenient and easy to explore Da Nang tourist attractions. Can be rented at hotels or motorbike rental locations, prices range from 60,000 VND – 150,000 VND/motorbike/day.
– Bus: there are interprovincial buses running to Hue (3 hours), and Hoi An (1 hour)
– Taxi: Taxi brands Song Han, Tien Sa, Mai Linh, Vinasun Green
If you want to save the most, you should ride a motorbike, because it is both flexible and can go far. To get to Hue or Hoi An, you can absolutely go by motorbike. For short distances, you can go by bus.
Thus, to move within the city, you need 300,000 VND/person.

Sleeping expenses
Prices for motels and hotels in Da Nang range from 200,000 to 20,000,000 VND. However, if you don’t have much money, you should rent 1 – 1.5 star hotels priced from 200,000 – 350,000 VND/night. If you stay 2 days, the cost for sleeping is about 500,000 – 700,000 VND. If you travel with 2 people/room, the cost may decrease, to approx 250,000 – 350,000 VND/person.
Meal expenses
Da Nang is not the most expensive city in Vietnam, so you can rest assured that when you come here, you will not have to spend a large amount of money. Regarding accommodation, coming to Da Nang you will be spoiled for choice of accommodation depending on your budget.
If you take the train, you will spend a total of 1 and a half days on the train, which means 3 meals on the train. You can have snacks, which will cut costs. Each meal costs about 30,000 VND, which means eating on the train will cost about 100,000 VND.
Two days in Da Nang you can eat and drink as you like, there are many delicious dishes in Da Nang. The price of the dishes is also very cheap, not too expensive. Every day you only need 200,000 VND to eat comfortably. Two days will only take you approx 300,000 – 400,000 VND for food costs.

Outing expenses
People often say that if you go to Da Nang for 1 day, you will run out of good places to go, but in reality, that is not necessarily the case. If you have time, it will take 3-5 days for you to go to all the interesting places in Da Nang and eat all the delicious dishes – specialties in Da Nang.
There will be many places you can go out in Da Nang or neighboring places like Hoi An and Hue.
